The Seaside Regional Park is situated in the south from the Palanga Botanical Park and stretches to Klaipėda city.
Riding along the reconstructed 24,33 km long seaside bicycle track you will discover the real Lithuanian seaside by bicycle, and the landscape of the Seaside Regional Park, which lies in the territory of the former soviet military polygon from Giruliai to Nemirseta, will leave indelible impressions. By comfortable bicycle tracks this route gives access from Klaipėda even to Šventoji, where you will be fascinated by the three “Fisherman‘s Daughters“ waiting in the dunes, “Monkey“ bridge over the Šventoji River and Žemaičių alka, a pagan samogitian sacred ground with a paleoastronomical observatory.
On the way to Šventoji you will enjoy the sights of the Seaside Regional Park: the Dutchman‘ s Cap, which is the highest scarp on the Lithuanian seaside, the old Curonian cemetery in Karklė, Plazė Lakelet of glacial origin and the dunes of Nemirseta seashore, formed here about 8 thousand years ago by the ancient Litorina Sea.
