The neo-renaissance palace was built in 1897 according to the project of the German architect Franz Schwechten. The palace was restored in 1957 (author A. Brusokas).
At present, Alfredas Tiškevičius, the descendant of the counts, lives in Warsaw. On 22 May 1997, Palanga City Council conferred the name of an HONORARY CITIZEN of Palanga on Count Alfredas Tiškevičius.
